In the CD SCILLS-Int. classroom, we have students who are in grades 4-6 learning in a setting that supports their academic and language needs. The students in this program remain in this class from the first day of 4th grade to the last day of 6th grade. We participate with our grade level friends for our morning routine, specials, lunch, recess, social studies/science, and activities such as parties/rewards.
My name is Miss. Sarol and I am the teacher for the CD SCILLS-Int. Program here at Islands Elementary. I moved to Arizona from Maui in 2011 and I have been here since. My hobbies include traveling, hiking, and reading- all in which I try to do as much as I can! As for my education, I graduated with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from Grand Canyon University- Go 'Lopes! I also participated in a program that allowed me to teach English abroad for a summer in Indonesia a few years ago, and I absolutely loved it! This is my second year at Islands Elementary and I'm proud to be a Dolphin!
